Another edition of Tests de Mathieu, in which I give you my impressions of the Icelandic brand ICE. I had already presented several flavors to you some time ago, and this time I'm testing four new flavors for you, three of which are limited editions!

New limited-edition flavors from ICE

ICE asked me to test four of their flavors. Today I'm interested in pouches ICE Freeze X nicotine in Extra Strong strength (19 mg per pouch), and three limited editions: ICE Limited Edition Lemon Berry Strong, ICE Limited Edition Freeze Reaper Extra Strong and ICE Limited Edition Guava Lava Strong. The verdict is very positive, as you'll discover below.

Packaging

Let's start with the Limited Edition flavors, whose design on cans changes slightly from the historic ICE range. The size of the logo has been reduced to give pride of place to the words Limited Edition under the flavor name. 

The design of the cans nicotine pouches ICE Limited Edition Guava Lava is, in my opinion, the most successful of all the flavors tested today. Slightly textured and coated in places with a glossy varnish, the "molten lava" effect is of the most beautiful effect.

The look of cans ICE Limited Edition Freeze Reaper and ICE Limited Edition Lemon Berry is closer to the brand's graphic identity. The usual two-tone combination evokes flavors. Freeze Reaper is decorated in blue for its icy appeal, and orange-red to evoke the spiciness of California Reaper chili pepper flavor. Lemon Berry is adorned in yellow and pink to represent the fruity, tangy aromas. The lid of these two flavors is also semi-transparent, offering a convincing rendering. 

Finally, let's talk about pouches ICE Freeze X nicotine! With its matte black look and highly textured ice floe pattern, the design of cans Freeze X stands out from all the other designs from the brand. I really like it!

Flavours and aromas

ICE Lemon Berry Limited Edition: a successful fruity-tart duo. I really felt the slight acidity of the lemon, which blended perfectly with the sweetness of the wild berry aromas. Very pleasant!

Let's move on to a "hotter" register with ICE Guava Lava Limited Edition nicotine. Here we have a guava - habanero pepper duo. Don't worry, Habanero pepper flavoring (native to Mexico) is only used in very reasonable quantities, so there's nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if you're cooking with a real Habanero pepper, remember to protect your eyes - you could get badly burned!

Let's finish with the nicotine pouches ICE Freeze Reaper Limited Edition and ICE Freeze X. Both flavors contain the same mint aromas enhanced by a hint of California Reaper pepper (which is even stronger than Habanero pepper on the Scoville scalescale, which until very recently was the spiciest pepper in the world). If you like flavors that are both icy and hot, you'll love this! 

Felt under the lip

Efficiency and discretion
